Welcome to Pengsong Pekingese, we are a new Pekingese breeder in Montana. In Chinese Pengsong means fluffy, the perfect word to describe a Pekingese puppy. And so our "kennel" name was born.

I am especially proud of the excellent temperaments in my fluffy kids. They are outgoing, have lots of personality and they are "lion-dog" brave and loyal. I do show my dogs in AKC Conformation but they are pretty pets and wonderful house companions first and foremost. All of our dogs are AKC DNA profiled and registered.

Experienced Breeders
I have been breeding field trial Springers for 25 years and added Sussex Spaniels in 2012. My competition and breeding accomplishments and achievements are significant and I am a Breeder of Merit for both breeds. I fell in love with show bred Pekingese in 2017 and finished my first fluffy Grand Champion, Bill, the following year. Since t
I have been breeding field trial Springers for 25 years and added Sussex Spaniels in 2012. My competition and breeding accomplishments and achievements are significant and I am a Breeder of Merit for both breeds. I fell in love with show bred Pekingese in 2017 and finished my first fluffy Grand Champion, Bill, the following year. Since then I've finished three more to Champion, and have imported a lovely male from Portugal. There's no looking back now! I consider Pekingese to be my retirement breed and my involvement with them will only grow with time.
We will occasionally have a finished champion adult available to a pet home, for a small adoption fee.

BILL, my first Pekingese who inspired my love for this wonderful breed. Bill LOVED to show and had huge wins with me on the lead, beating top ranked pekes multiple times. He has never been bred but we are hoping to fix that in 2024!

Boy did I luck out with this little girl! Jilly is the perfect Lion Dog. She is bubbly, friendly and brave. She finished with all majors over tough competition. She is also the best mom, ever - in 2022 she raised her own singleton and also one of our Sussex singletons!

Update 8/07/2025: We will have a male puppy available from the GCH Bill X LiNa litter born 07/29. We are planning to breed CH Jilly one last time (hopefully to Bill) for a late fall or winter litter.

Nicky is a lovely red sable bred by Jeni Cruz (My&Ty) in Portugal. In 2023 he was only shown a few times and won a huge5 point major and had wins over Specials. He just needs 3 points to finish his Championship.

My very first Pekingese breeding produced this gorgeous red sable parti singleton. She is pointed from the Bred By Exhibitor classes and has beaten both well-bred boys and girls. With the massive decline in Pekingese entries, it will be hard to finish her championship, but we will breed her at some point.

This dog had an amazing coat and although I quickly finished him, he was very structurally unsound, neutered and is now living his best life as a pampered pet.
